Try this quick method to upgrade your thoughts for a positive day at work

What are you telling yourself each morning? What thoughts are running through your head?

- Nnnoooo another day at work
- Oh gawd, that dull conference call is today
- I bet the train will be running late again
- Dammit I forgot to send that e-mail yesterday
- When will it be Friday??

You get the idea.


These are not useful thoughts to get you ready for the day ahead. We need to set you up for success from the get go.

So switch out those thoughts. Stop them in their tracks and choose a better one. The trick is to pick something you believe to be true. Going from thinking 'I'm broke' to 'I'm a millionaire' is a big stretch for most people. 

Here are some interim early morning thoughts you could try before upgrading again to even bigger, loftier ones:

- I'm creating an impact at work


- I'm looking forward to seeing 'x' colleague today


- It will be great to listen to that podcast on the train


- Ooo it's Wednesday, I'll look out for Kat's blog :p

This accomplishes two things 1) it gets rid of negativity and 2) it gives you a platform to build on. Keep it simple - upgrade your thoughts and upgrade your day.
