Leadership Coaching

High stakes moments. High impact coaching.

1-1 Leadership Coaching

Kat coaches Executives, Partners and senior leaders in scale businesses to develop their leadership capability, build high performing teams and create a culture that motivates and delivers. She works with them to identify their unique contribution and lead in a way that's aligned with who they are.

Companies often choose to partner with Kat to help leaders excel during high stakes transition moments like when leaders start a new role, step into an expanded remit or will be managing a significant transformation agenda. The company knows they’ve chosen the right leader for this role and wants to ensure their investment is maximised.

Clients that work with Kat connect to their sense of purpose and how they contribute to the organisation. This creates a ripple effect through their team as they step into more powerful and impactful leadership. Kat coaches for insight - because a single insight can inspire action that changes everything.

We also work with clients who approach us privately when they are looking for a career change. We have an excellent 4 session programme that moves leaders from conflicting ideas about what next to a bold focus on the type of role they’ll apply for and a strategy for how to achieve it.

Our clients are individuals who:

Are at a high stakes moment like a new role, growing mandate or career transition

Have scale leadership responsibilities or material accountability for a key part of the organisations strategy

Consider themselves ‘change-makers’ – leaders who want to make a proactive and positive difference to their colleagues, clients and community

Have strong credentials and experience but also have moments where they feel doubt or uncertainty

Know that they have more to offer – a sense that some of their potential is still untapped

Sometimes feel lonely and like they’re swimming against the tide by trying to do something different from the status quo

Are open to leading from the front, experimenting, thinking differently and pioneering change

Have self-awareness about their leadership strengths and are open to receiving feedback that is kindly delivered but direct and positively challenging

▲ Care deeply about the people around them.

What clients say about working with Kat

Coaching Qualifications & Experience

Kat is an accredited Professional Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching and a Master NLP Practitioner. She has studied neuroscience, mindfulness and resilience, often bringing these insights to her coaching. Combined with her experience as a leader in Financial Services, Kat’s clients find her to be commercially minded, knowledgeable and positively challenging.

Her background as a corporate banker means Kat is quickly able to understand the coaching context, including a firm’s strategy, vision and drivers, working supportively and professionally with both client and sponsor to create positive outcomes for all parties. As a former Head of Coaching for the London & South East region of a FTSE 100 organisation, Kat is well versed in leadership development programmes – their design delivery and embedding through coaching.

Coaching Approach & Format

Kat co-creates coaching programmes with her clients based on the outcome they want to achieve. How this works:

1

A conversation with the HR/ Performance Lead, who is arranging coaching for the leader, to understand the context

2

A complimentary session for the potential client to experience coaching, set clear intentions for the programme and determine whether this would be a good working relationship

3

Kat recommends a programme format that delivers the outcome the client and organisation want – for most senior leaders this will comprise 1x 60 minute and 1x 30 minute coaching session each month over 6-12 months

4

Near the start and end of the programme Kat recommends that the coaching client, their manager and Kat have a joint conversation where the client can share their goals and seek feedback

While we agree scheduled times for coaching sessions, Kat considers herself ‘on the pitch’ and welcomes ad hoc communication from the leader and organisation.

Group Coaching

We enjoy designing group coaching experiences to your specific context. Here are two recent examples:

Creating Impact in
your first 100 days

For large organisations who have multiple leaders joining the business at a similar time, we work with them together as a cohort of 4-6 individuals to maximise their immediate impact. They will benefit from building relationships with a small group of peers and specific topics that support the development of strategy, stakeholder networks, team engagement and accelerated results.

Sustainable
Success

In Legal and Consultancy firms we know the transition to Partner is a big moment and that the first couple of years is a challenging adjustment. In groups of 4-6 new Partners we work on the 3 pillars we believe are integral to sustainable Partner success: 1) identity shift, 2) business development and commercial acumen and 3) leadership and wider contribution to the firm. All while building peer support and sharing strategies for ongoing wellbeing and resilience.

We believe that coaching is an excellent way to embed new leadership training and create behaviour change. We will happily partner with your external or internal training provider and recommend ways to use group coaching to share best practice, success, challenges and community. And most importantly, to capitalise on the new energy and inspiration post training and achieve ROI on the investment you’ve made.

We will design a group coaching solution that delivers the outcomes you need.
